Butare is a city in the Southern Province of Rwanda and capital of Huye district. A tourist attraction by itself, it has The National Museum of Rwanda, a must visit for any tourist. It show cases the cultural history of the country and the region. It is one of the finest museum in East Africa. The National University Of Rwanda (NUR) is also located here. This is a young town because of the large number of students studying in the various Educational Institutions. There are decent hotels and restaurants operating here.
