Have been going to Zaaffran from the time it was Hundee. One thing that stands out about this restaurant is that, you never get a no. The staff are really friendly, the manager Lucky, is always there to sort out a confusion if it arises.
A common problem I have had is getting the wrong drinks when in a larger group, they should give some attention to this problem. Food is good , typical Indian fare, however they have less spicy or mild variants for all the menu items. If you have heard of some Indian dish and want to try out try asking them, one time i wanted to try Chettinadu chicken something I read about in the book Chasing the Monsoon and the cook was only happy to serve me the same and also he came out and asked me how it was,
Service is a plus point for Zaaffran, but the drinks getting messed up needs to be sorted out.
The uniforms that the staff wear, in my opinion, looks a little shabby may be they should think about changing them or maybe modify it to look a little more clean.
